A first build of the new year with some useful improvements… this week we’re concentrating on some performance improvements and tweaked how DISCNUMBER is treated when fixing tags.

First up, the “fix-all” page (the one you get to from the Inbox when you choose “Fix all by type”).

We’ve made a couple of important changes to scalability here. When choosing some categories to fix, the subsequent progress and monitoring page was running out of memory because it was doing too much work eagerly.

We’ve fixed that, and the page should now always fully draw.

Other things

Some smaller items:

• The untagged files code now doesn’t create a new thread on each rescan.
• If DISCNUMBER is marked as required (included in the missing tags rule) and some linked releases report it absent, some present, always use the present value.
• If DISCNUMBER is reported as both absent and present in linked releases with equal score, accept any that conform to current value as accurate.
